Our new uniform
All students will be in the new uniform for the start of 2020 to assist with building school pride and the formation of a single school.
The school uniform is close to finalisation. It has been worked on by a uniform committee, which has student and parent representatives and makes recommendations to the four current secondary school councils.
The $200 uniform package
Each student will be provided with a $200 uniform voucher to be redeemed at local uniform suppliers, for summer and sports uniform.
Uniform vouchers will be provided to families by the end of October 2019.
There is State Schools Relief for eligible families, to assist with the cost of purchasing additional uniform items. For more information about this support, see: State Schools’ Relief – Affordable uniforms
Uniform Voucher Process
If you currently have a child in Year 7 to Year 11 at one of the government secondary schools you should have received a form and an information sheet about the uniform voucher process.
Parents/carers are asked to please fill in the form indicating your choice of uniform retailer for each child (the uniform retailer options will be on the form), sign and return to your current school.
Completed and signed forms need to be returned to your current secondary school ASAP.
If you have a Year 6 student enrolling at Greater Shepparton College (interim name) you will be recieving an Information Pack containing the form during the week beginning the 14 October. You will need to complete and return the form to McGuire College.
Following receipt of the form, a voucher will be prepared for each child to the value of $200 in the name of the requested uniform retailer. The vouchers will then be provided to the four schools, and schools will arrange distribution.
Please ensure that you complete the form, so that your child/ren can be included in the $200 uniform voucher process.
